“Newman Contracting built a two storey extension for us in 2018. The house is old, which always comes with its challenges, and constructed of Cotswold stone. Nick and his team were on board from the start with Nick being able to tweak our original plans and deal with the Planning Dept on our behalf.
The project took about 6 months in total and we continued to live on site. Everyone was extremely considerate and ensured all the services remained functioning throughout.
We were very impressed with the constant meticulous care and attention to detail. Nick and Dom made sure we discussed the plans daily and were a constant source of ideas and comparisons whilst always bearing in mind the budget. A good example of this was that Nick always encouraged us to set up our own trade accounts to save us money whereas some builders might order on their own accounts and not pass on the saving.
All the tradesmen used were lovely...it was such a friendly team and a pleasure to see them arrive every day.
We couldn’t be happier with our extension...it has blended in seamlessly and is exactly what we’d hoped for. Everything was completed to a very high standard throughout and any snagging was quickly sorted at the end.
